Dashing Along to January

Tea and mulling spices are a perfect winter warmer.
Tea and mulling spices are a perfect winter warmer.

The end of the year is around the corner, so even as we are dashing through the holidays, TeaSmart readers must remember to get January promos in place – the New Year will be here before you know it!

January generally centers around personal wellness and shedding those holiday extravagances, but it should also focus on winter fun. There’s so much to love about winter! Sledding, snow forts, hikes in the woods, fine tea by a cozy fireplace – none of these ends when the clock strikes midnight on the New Year. Keep winter favorites on your menu!

For Wellness:

Tea-Tox – A year-round favorite but especially important in the new year, this is the tea people want to off-set their indulgences.

Skinny Tea – Helpful for keeping the body regular this tea is quite popular with the wellness crew. Contains senna leaf so urge your customers to use conservatively.

Minty Comfort – It’s been our experience that after all the holiday hustle and bustle, cold and flu season hits hard. Be ready with this caring, comforting blend with peppermint, echinacea, and eucalyptus to soothe what ails your customers.

Winter Fun:

Blood Orange – This hibiscus and citrus herbal blend is a spirit-lift during the grey days of winter. Steep with a little of our Mulling Spice Mix to make an Orange Spice warmer. A touch of honey makes it all the better!

Rooibos Vanilla Chai – Chai spices, rooibos, and a touch of vanilla for a caffeine-free relief from the chill. Lovely as a chai latte in a travel tumbler for outside fun.

Chocolate Truffle – The holidays may be over, but we still want chocolate! It’s easy to exercise self-control when our Chocolate Truffle tea satisfies cravings! Keep this on your menu straight through Valentine’s Day!

We suggest building a “snow day bundle” with teas, travel tumblers, and honey or crystal sugar to sell in advance of oncoming snowstorms. Your customers can enjoy more of the day with the perfect teas to stay warm while enjoying a day ice skating, making snow people, or enjoying a snowy stroll.
