Tea Ideas For Your Early Spring Menu

Tea comforts on a rainy spring day.
Tea comforts on a rainy spring day.

Early spring offers tea menu challenges with the weather on any given day being part winter and part spring. Be sure to keep your tea menu balanced for those blustery, chilly days as well as sunshiny, light-sweater weather! We suggest keeping some spiced teas such as Adagio’s classic Rooibos Vanilla Chai, as well as the lighter bodied Spiced Green and White Chai on your tea menu. These are still warming without being too heavy for spring. While keeping these on hand, also introduce some fruity flavors associated with spring holidays such as Honeybush Apricot, Lemon-Meringue Green, and our luscious Cherry Marzipan Oolong.

Always keep an eye on the weather! You might have sunny blue skies in the morning and snow squalls or chilly rain in the afternoon in early spring. Heaven knows the meteorologists never quite get it right! Keep the kettle fired up so you can easily accommodate the needs of your customers as the temperature and feel of the day changes. Be ready to smoothly change from warming spicy chai to cooling fruity iced teas at a moment’s notice and you will be rewarded with appreciative customers and more tea sales!
